
Sarah Bowles
Sarah is a Missouri native and was raised in Liberty. In 2004, she graduated from Kansas State University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in political science and French.
Sarah began her political career working as an aide to Kansas State Representative Bonnie Huy. From 2005 to 2006, Sarah served as the Finance director for Graves for Congress, Missouri Congressman Sam Graves' successful re-election campaign.
Sarah provides fundraising support for Axiom's statewide, congressional, and state legislative candidates.

SusAnnah Woody
Susannah is one of the newest members of Axiom and functions as our receptionist, administrative assistant and “go-to person” for a host of responsibilities. She was born and raised in Springfield, MO and arrived in Kansas City in early 2007. She continues to pursue education opportunities in marketing and communications at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Justin Bush
Justin is a life long Missouri resident, born and raised in Independence, Missouri. He graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 2004, with degrees in journalism and political science. While in college he served as sports editor of the school newspaper and vice-president of the College Republicans.
Justin began his political career as an intern in Congressman Sam Graves’ Washington D.C. office. After college he served as the grass roots coordinator for 6th Congressional District candidate Jeanne Patterson. In early 2007, he joined the naval reserves. Upon returning from his naval training he decided to re-enter politics and joined Axiom Strategies in June of 2008.
Justin is involved in grassroots efforts, communications and media relations, opposition research and campaign strategy.

Lindsey Blank
Lindsey was born in Peoria, Illinois, but has lived all across the Midwest. She currently calls Smithville home.
Lindsey began her political career while interning for Congressman Sam Graves in 2007. At Axiom, Lindsey works closely with clients on fundraising support, grassroots and constituent involvement and on various projects for clients. In addition to her duties at Axiom, she continues to pursue her education at the University of Missouri in the areas of marketing and political science.
Fred Shumate
Fred joined Axiom in December of 2008. He brings with him a wealth of political and legislative experience at the local, state, and federal levels.
Prior to his work at Axiom, Fred served as the executive director and grassroots lobbyist for a newly formed non-profit civil justice reform group in Louisiana. He has been a part of over 40 campaigns in five different states. From intern to manager, Fred has served at every level of a political campaign and has implemented winning strategies for candidates from councilman to Congressman. In addition, he has served as legislative assistant and policy advisor to two current members of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Ways & Means.
Fred is a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
