Our Principal

KCP&LAt a young age, Jeff Roe had a passion for being involved in politics and the experience he gained led him to a career. He started out at the bottom, first as a driver, then looking up phone numbers and putting up four by eight signs. They say the best teacher in politics is experience.  Every campaign became a teacher, and Jeff got a first rate in education in how campaigns really work.

By the time Jeff graduated from college, he was a veteran campaigner. He worked for then -State Representative Sam Graves and later would become his first Chief of Staff in the Missouri State Senate and then served as his Chief of Staff as the Freshman Congressman went to Washington. He served in that capacity for a total of 10 years.

Roe continued helping local candidates as he engineered Graves’ overwhelming re-election victories. He helped Missouri Republicans take over the General Assembly for the first time in 50 years by flipping long-held Democrat strongholds into conservative Republican seats. He ran the decisive election to flip the State Senate in the Graves open seat in 2001 and then helped coordinate the statewide effort to take the House in 2002.

In 2005, Jeff founded Axiom Strategies in Kansas City, in 2008 they opened a Washington, DC office. The firm specializes in cutting edge technology and razor sharp messaging. Jeff worked on his first Presidential election in 2008 for former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee. Axiom Strategies ran the phone ID and turnout effort in dozens of states including Iowa, South Carolina, Florida and the all important Super Tuesday states.

Under Jeff’s direction, Axiom Strategies has now expanded its footprint into every region of the country. Running Congressional races from Delaware to California and statewide campaigns from Maine to Georgia to Nevada; Jeff has gained broad national experience. In addition to campaigns, Jeff regularly consults corporate clients on federal, state and local issues.

In 2003, Ingram’s, Kansas City’s Business Magazine, named Jeff a member of the elite 40 Under Forty group.  Jeff is also an adjunct professor at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, and a guest lecturer for The Washington Campus, a consortium of business schools from top universities across the nation.  He also participates as a panelist for business and political forums hosted by numerous organizations including the Committee for Economic Development, based in Washington, DC. Jeff serves as a panelist for Election Magazine and occasionally writes features for their publication.

A Brookfield, Missouri native, Jeff was born on a farm, became an Eagle Scout and entered the Army at the age of 16.  He graduated from Northwest Missouri State University, in Maryville.  He and his wife, Melissa, live in Kansas City and attend Northland Cathedral Church.
