Bio: I was born and raised in Saint Simons Island, GA and attended Georgia College & State University undergrad where I studied Economics and went to grad school at Georgia Tech where I earned a degree in Public Policy. After I graduated, I got my first taste of politics working in the office of Georgia Governor Nathan Deal. I joined High Cotton Consulting in June 2018, after 2 years working in Aflac’s Federal Relations office. While I was at Aflac, I worked with Republican Congressional members on financial services issues and helped raise dollars for some of the most vulnerable Republican candidates in the 2018 cycle. My time with Aflac allowed me to expand my network in D.C. to better serve our clients at High Cotton by connecting them to power players in a variety of industries.
What you do at Axiom/how you serve our clients: My primary responsibility at High Cotton is to serve as a connector, using our network to raise money from the D.C. PAC community for candidates and incumbents. In D.C. it’s all about who you know, and that’s what I do; I know people and I connect them to our clients. Whether it is through phone calls, emails, or in-person meetings, I am always meeting and greeting and then following up with requests for support.
How you got your start in politics: My college economics professor instilled in me a passion for cutting government waste, so naturally my first job out of grad school was in Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal’s budget office. Now I help elect more fiscal conservatives to Congress.
