EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Name: Korbin Keller

Title: Associate, Clout Public Affairs

Location: St. Louis, MO

Bio: A lifelong Missourian, I grew up in O’Fallon before heading off to college at Truman State University. While there, I became involved with Axiom Strategies and the Clout Public Affairs Team, working on various political races and lobbying efforts across the state. In 2018, I managed the campaign of State Senator Cindy O’Laughlin, where she successfully defeated three incumbent state representatives in the primary. After graduating with my  B.S. in Political Science, I am pursuing my J.D. at Washington University in St. Louis while continuing to work for Axiom.

What you do at Axiom/how you serve our clients: I serve Axiom clients by crafting campaign communique including helping to write and edit emails, social media posts, fundraising letters, opinion pieces, editorials, press releases, and letters to the editor. In writing these communications, I keep a special eye on the messaging for the target audience, making sure that the crafted materials serve the best interests of the client. I also conduct research on policy and governmental issues.

How I got my start at Axiom: I interned in the Missouri House of Representatives in 2017 for then-representative Scott Fitzpatrick. Shortly after that ended, Vice President of Clout Public Affairs, Aaron Baker, inquired into the office staff if they knew of any students at Truman State University who would be interested in working in political work. My name was offered up, I was given a job offer, and I accepted. The rest is history.

Fun Fact: My wife, Sarah, and I are expecting our first baby, a daughter, in January 2021.

Your favorite political figure (past or present) & why: Jesus Christ, since he is lord over all.
