EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Name: Robby Morales

Title: Senior Designer

Location: Kansas City, MO

Bio: I began my career in graphic design in 2000. My work experience includes non-profit, religious, corporate, and political design. The majority of my portfolio in the past 7 years has been for Republican Federal and state-level campaigns in addition to national advocacy groups. I enjoy collaborating with our writers in every race we are invited to participate in and celebrate with our clients when they win. I have been married for 22 years. My wife Melissa and I have three daughters, a son, a son-in-law and one grand-baby girl.

What you do at Axiom/how you serve our clients: In cooperation with the writers in our voter contact department, my expertise is to visually design our client’s messaging in mail, digital and other campaign collateral. All my day-to-day efforts are put into quickly and efficiently solving design challenges to support our client’s winning position.

How you got your start in politics: I was recruited directly by Jeff Roe as the first full-time designer to be hired by Axiom.

Fun fact about you: I own an urban farm north of Kansas City where we grow organic garlic and nut trees.

What lessons have you learned from previous campaign cycles?: Live close to the office, always get your sleep, and stay hydrated.
