Bio: I began my career in politics working on state and congressional campaigns in the Chicago area for the 2010 cycle. After the 2012 election, I realized there was a need for reliable opposition research and set down my current path. In 2018, I joined the Axiom family to be a part of a best-in-class, full service agency dedicated to winning at all levels.

What you do at Axiom/how you serve our clients: At Cannon Research Group, I work to make sure our clients have the information they need to win. I oversee research projects and work with our great team in Annapolis, MD. My goal is to ultimately transform the information we come across into winning messages for our campaigns.

Fun fact: I’ve climbed 32 mountains over 14,000 feet, and the goal is to get that number to over 40 by the end of 2020.

What lessons you have learned from previous campaign cycles: Voters have become far more skeptical of information. The days of a “silver bullet” or “October Surprise” are gone. Research and messaging often work better when they cement a preexisting negative theme around a candidate or cause.
