Name: Dan Middleton
Title: Senior Account Manager

Bio: I was born and raised in the ultimate political battleground state of Ohio. I got my college degree in Government and interned for my local Congressman’s campaign and former Governor John Kasich’s campaign. Before coming to Axiom I worked for a political phone vendor and then a media firm where I wrote scripts for TV, radio, and web advertising. I like to think this means that from my start knocking doors to writing mail for Axiom today I have worked across the entire gamut of voter contact mediums.
What you do at Axiom/how you serve our clients: As an account manager and copywriter my responsibility is to understand the strategic context our clients are operating in, then develop concepts for mail and other types of voter contact, work with the design team to bring those concepts to life, translate client feedback into actionable changes for the designers, and get final client approval. The most satisfying part of my job is shepherding an idea through the creative process from imagination to finished product.
How you got your start in politics: I watched “Inside Politics” on CNN at the age of 5 and it warped my young brain.
Your favorite political figure (past or present) & why: John Quincy Adams, because of his Congressional crusade against slavery and because he is the only U.S. political figure whose political career didn’t peak with the Presidency.
